A 2-month-old baby who was found by Wyoming police in a roadside ditch has been released from the hospital. Cheyenne Police Department spokesman Officer Kevin Malatesta says the girl was released from Children's Hospital Colorado over the weekend and is now in the care of the Wyoming Department of Family Services.
A 35-year-old Cheyenne woman is facing felony drug charges after a state trooper found 51 grams of methamphetamine in her car. According to an affidavit, Amanda Nace was pulled over on U.S. Highway 85 south of Cheyenne on Dec. 5 for a registration violation.
Two men are facing federal drug charges after a Wyoming trooper found 2.5 pounds of heroin in their car. According to court documents, 26-year-old Eduardo Aguilar and 34-year-old Juan Manuel Castillo-Padilla were pulled over on Interstate 80 east of Cheyenne on Dec. 8 for having expired tags.

Cheyenne Police confirm a 4 year old child was killed in an accident this evening. The mother remains at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center and her injuries are unknown at this time. However, we do know police talked with her about the child.
Recent arrests in Laramie County from Dec. 8-10
A Wyoming man who spent nearly 24 years in prison for a rape he didn't commit is trying again to win financial compensation from the government. Sixty-seven-year-old Andrew Johnson was exonerated and freed in 2013 based on DNA testing.
Cheyenne: man has been arrested in northern Colorado for allegedly groping a child. Javier Dominguez-Gallegos, 27, is facing a charge of felony sexual assault on a child for allegedly groping a 6-year-old boy in the Timnath Walmart. That store is located off I-25 and Harmony road near Fort Collins.
Cheyenne: A suspect is under arrest after leading Cheyenne police on a brief chase. It happened the evening of December 6th, beginning with a traffic stop at 5th and Evans. The suspect took off, and lead police on a pursuit down 9th street before turning south and going off road, before trying to cross the railroad tracks north of Campstool Road and Logan Avenue.

The Laramie County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a deadly house fire that killed two people and two dogs early Wednesday morning. It happened around 145am in the 6300 block of Browning Drive, off south Greeley highway and Terry Ranch Road. Fire districts 1, 2, 4 and crews from FE Warren all responded.
Cheyenne: Police say a police pursuit of a stolen truck ended with the truck crashing into an apartment complex last night. Police have not yet released all of the details, but they say the truck ended up crashing into an apartment complex off of Converse near Mason Way

A Cheyenne man has been found dead, just outside of town. The Laramie County Sheriff’s Office says the 43-year old, who has not yet been identified, was found last Wednesday, November 28.

Matthew Laganiere who was arrested for allegedly burglarizing a home after a homicide incident appeared in court for his preliminary hearing Monday, November 27. The case is now bound to district court. This comes after the Laramie County Sheriffs Office arrested two people for allegedly burglarizing a home centered around a homicide investigation.
Cheyenne: Large fire north of Cheyenne by Torrington Hwy
On Sunday, November 26, 2017, deputies were dispatched to Burlington Road on report of a vehicle that appeared to have been burned. The call initially went to the Cheyenne Police Department but the vehicle was determined to be in the county.

Cheyenne: More charges are expected for a Cheyenne inmate who was recently captured after an escape. Andrew Foy already faces several charges including burglary in Laramie County, as well as forgery and theft.
Rock Springs: Police detective on Wednesday shot and killed a pit bull as officers executed a search warrant. According to a news release from the Rock Springs Police Department, detectives and uniformed officers served a search warrant at 1057 Evergreen Way. The warrant was issued for evidence related to computer crimes
